24 funding organisations, from 21 countries including the Czech Republic, participate in this joint effort.

The Transnational Call 2009 has opened on 2 March 2009.
Deadline for mandatory pre-proposals: 6 May 2009, 12:00

MNT-ERA.NET continues to encourage the submission of commercialisable R&D proposals addressing all fields of micro and nano technologies including production technologies. Project consortia consisting of at least two parties from two different participating countries/regions are invited.

In this Transnational Call 2009, particular emphasis is put on the following applications:

- energy efficiency
- processing of materials
- photonics and electronics
- medical devices
